Week 2 in Germany

 Wednesday, June 2 

Hi! I am back again! This afternoon we went to Bernau to eat ice cream with my mom’s friend Madlen. I had 5 scoops! The flavors were cookie, lemon, peppermint, strawberry, and mango. My favorite flavor was lemon. After that, we got out our rollerblades and took a walk/ride! Then we took Madlen to the train station.  

Thursday, June 3 

Today we biked to another lake called Seefeld (Germany has a lot of lakes). We didn’t really swim, but not because it was too cold, because we liked playing in the sand better. I gave mom a mud bath! Then, at about 4 o’clock, mom said it was time to go. On our way back we stopped at Netto and got treats from the bakery. I picked an almond paste cake with a cherry on top.  

Friday, June 4 

Today I got to ride a horse because the renters next door have 2. Their names are Cassie and Casparo. They are really big and they are trained for jumping in tournaments. I got to trot on it. We also cleaned the garage for our Oma. She has a lot of junk in there. Then, we went to the cemetery to water flowers.  

Saturday, June 5 

Today we went to Cindy’s house. She has two sons named Jan and Henry. They have a sandbox and I made sand-ice cream. Then, me and Henry made an ice cream shop out of sand. Then, we went to the bakery, the real one, and got ice cream. I got mango sorbet. It was delicious. Later, when we went home, our cousin Luca was there. Then I went upstairs to read on my Ipad, and while I was doing that, the others went to the back yard and played ping pong. Later, I came downstairs and heard voices coming from outside, and went to check it out. I saw mom, Luca, Aiden, and Rowan playing the Chinese version of ping pong (move around the table).  

Sunday, June 6 

Today we went to Wukensee (another lake) with Christoph, Melanie, John, Cindy, Stefan, Henry, Jan, and Luca. A little after we got there, we got lunch. Then, we finally went into the water. I swam all the way out to the little island you can jump off of with Melanie. Later, we went back and I was freezing. The boys were playing in the sand when I got there, and they were digging a hole. Then they asked me to go inside it, and they burried me, except for my head. Then, Christoph put a bucket on my head and took a picture of me. Then, we dug a bigger hole and John, Aiden, and me went in it and Rowan and Luca burried us. Then, Christoph put hats on each one of us and took pictures of us. The sand was warm so I warmed up. Then, we got out and I was all sandy. Then, I went back in the water. Later, when I got out, mom asked me what kind of icecream I wanted, and I answered: Coca-Cola ice. Then, when I was done, I was too cold to go back into the water, so I changed back into my normal clothes. Then, my brother told me that mom had said 10 more minutes before we go. When we got home, we biked to my mom’s friend Germaine’s house. She has 3 sons, I forget their names, they have a trampoline and a swing with really long chains holding it. They also have a pingpong table. So later, after supper, we played pingpong. Then, me and my brothers went to the cemetery to water flowers with Oma again. When we went back, we asked mom if we could go home because we were bored. She said we could, but first we had to shower before we could do our screens.  

 Tomorrow we leave to an island with Madlen and I’ll write from there. Bye!
