First week in Germany!
Hi guys (and girls)! My name is Maya, and I will be
reporting daily about my GERMANY ADVENTURES! Shall we get started?

Today was exiting yet tiring ‘cause guess what? WE JUST
ARIVED IN GERMANY!!!!!!!!!! My cousin Elise(E-le-zu) “picked us up” (took the
train with us) and stayed for a while. Surprise! Uncle Christoph came with his son
(John), but his wife (Melanie) stayed home. PS. We got roller blades!
BYYYYYYYYY!

Today was not that interesting, except for we (mom, Rowan,
Aiden, and Maya) went to Christoph’s house. The boys had a water-balloon fight.
After that, we put on our roller blades (except for Christoph because he had
back surgery, so he rode a scooter) Anyway we made a train looking thing and it
was fun! It’s kind of like a conga line on roller blades! Mom said it was a
work-out because she was DRAGGING us UP THE HILL! BYYYYYYYYYYYY!

Today we got ice cream with Tante Doris. It was really good.
I got orange and strawberry. After that, we went to Tiefensee to swim. But
sadly, it was too cold. Me and my brothers took stalks and threw them into the
water instead to see who could throw them the farthest. So about 20 minutes
later we went home.

Today was Kindertag! It’s like Mother’s Day or Father’s Day,
but for kids. So our Oma gave us candy. She also took us to the Zoo with our
cousin Elise and her dog, Buddy. I really liked the lion and I think I would
have liked the tiger but we couldn’t find it. There was an animal that I can’t remember
the name off, but I really liked it. It was kind of similar to an ocelot or a
small leopard. There were lots of playgrounds, too. Then we went home. A few
minutes later my mom asked if I wanted to rollerblade some more to another
person’s house to get another bike. When we got back, my brothers were watching
Alvin and the Chipmunks, but in German. We were a quarter a way into the movie
Shrek when mom said we had to stop and go to bed.
Hi Maya! Harper here. It is so cool that you are doing a blog!!!!!! I love hearing about Germany!
